Cyberbullying among teenagers has been on the rise for several years. Teenagers now frequently use social media as a daily communication tool, allowing them to share photos and express their opinions online. However, some abuse these platforms to mock, insult, and spread abusive comments. This situation raises serious concerns about the impact cyberbullying can have on adolescents’ communities.
In my opinion, cyberbullying among teenagers needs to be addressed seriously because it can significantly impact students’ mental health, reduce self-confidence, cause anxiety, and create an unhealthy environment. This is where parental and school oversight is crucial. More monitoring and caring can reduce the number of victims of cyberbullying. Therefore, it’s crucial to work together to create a healthy social media environment.
There are currently numerous reports in the media and on television that cases of cyberbullying among teenagers are on the rise. Many victims receive malicious comments on social media platforms about their personality, appearance, and personal lives. This demonstrates the significant impact of cyberbullying. If this problem persists without swift action, many teenagers will experience emotional stress over time.

Social media has its positive and negative sides. Some people believe that social media isn’t a major problem, as it offers benefits such as helping people communicate with friends, obtain information, and express their creativity online. However, without strict oversight, it can lead to chaos. Many irresponsible actors still create problems like cyberbullying.
Therefore, parents, schools, and other adolescents must take bold action to prevent cyberbullying. Teenagers must learn how to use social media wisely and effectively. Parents and schools can provide effective guidance and strict supervision. This awareness-raising initiative can create a safe environment. By working together within the community, cyberbullying cases will decrease and victims will be eliminated.
