Participating in committee or organizational activities on campus is not just an extra activity outside of academic routines. More than that, involvement in organizations is an important forum for students to explore their potential, build character, and revive enthusiasm that may have faded due to the routine of lectures.
However, in practice, there are still many students who are not interested in getting involved in organizational activities. Various reasons often arise, ranging from fear of not being able to manage time between classes, feelings of embarrassment or lack of confidence, to the view that organizations will only add to their burden.
In fact, through organizational experience, students can gain various benefits that are not only useful during college, but also in their future professional careers.
One of the most obvious benefits is the opportunity to expand relationships and friendships. Within organizations, students will interact with many people from various backgrounds, majors, and batches.
These interactions not only enrich their knowledge but also hone their communication and collaboration skills. This extensive network of friendships can even become an important asset in the future workplace, where teamwork and interpersonal relationships are highly valued.
In addition, organizations also serve as an effective place to build self-confidence. When someone is involved in committee activities, they will face various situations that require the courage to speak up, express opinions, and make decisions.
Through this process, self-confidence will develop naturally. Students who were initially hesitant to appear in public or interact with many people can discover new courage and abilities that they did not previously realize they had.
Furthermore, organizational experience provides students with the opportunity to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Responsibility, group dynamics, and the challenges of carrying out activities become learning tools that shape strong and adaptable characters.

On the other hand, the energetic atmosphere of an organization can also help students regain motivation that has been lost due to academic pressure. A supportive and collaborative environment makes students feel valued, empowered, and have broader goals.
Thus, it can be concluded that involvement in campus organizations provides various positive benefits. In addition to expanding relationships and building self-confidence, this experience also fosters a sense of responsibility, leadership skills, and a new enthusiasm for college life. Therefore, instead of viewing organizations as an additional burden, students should see them as an opportunity to grow and discover the best version of themselves.
Ultimately, campus organizations are not just places for activities, but learning spaces that shape character and spirit. Through this process, students not only become better prepared for the working world, but also gain a deeper understanding of themselves as strong, confident individuals with clear life goals.
